The New Blueprint
Why we must walk-away from civilization
- Advances in technology are no longer improving our health, wellbeing, and leisure time.
- An economy based on infinite production can never be sustained.
- Large ruling systems cannot represent the majority.
- The dominant society is destructive to family and community.
- The infinite growth of civilization has imprisoned humanity.
- In order for the minority to live in overabundance, the world majority has to live in poverty as slaves.
- Our separation from nature will lead to an ecological disaster.
- Overpopulation will lead to greater violence over remaining land, water, and energy.
- Once basic needs are met, more possessions do not lead to greater happiness.
How we can walk-away
- Stop buying.
- Pay of your debts.
- Barter.
- Work for yourself.
- Be fearless.
- Be transparent.
- Adopt a healthy lifestyle.
- Re-wild.
- Force the system to show its true colors.
- Stop watching TV.
- Live locally.
- Learn to integrate Permaculture into your life.

Thanks for the good information. I know about permaculture, but only from readings. I have not had much experience with it, but would like to take a course soon. Thanks for sharing the video links, I will be sure to check them out. I think you are right, we will need Permaculture to survive a post-civilized world. I will add this to my list.
