My name is Dan. I live in a city, but grew up in the suburbs. I miss being close to nature, but enjoy the arts and culture in the urban environment. I hope that someday we will blend the best of rural and urban life.
I enjoy cycling and only drive my car once or twice a week. When I see people looking for parking spaces I feel sorry for them. When I have to find one, I get really stressed out. I have considered totally giving up my car, but still find some uses for it. Because of my lack of driving I have lost many of my offensive skills and now usually drive with one hand on the horn.
My favorite medium to create with is music because it feels natural and elegant to me. In my greatest moments of despair, music has always made sense to me and been true. I really like repetition, patterns, and arpeggios. Because of this I gravitate towards the minimalist composers.

Where should you start? Presently, the Stories and Audiovisual pages have the most unique content. This website is in its infancy. I want its development to be as natural as possible, not strained. Like our civilization, when you forcibly build something too uniformly, too fast, it falls down hard. I want to provide thought-provoking content without burning myself out. Keep stopping by, there will be much more to come.
